About Us

Our company provides Data Collection, Analytics and Reports that teach managers to make more snow with less energy.

Our fundamental approach measures and improves snowmaking performance by optimizing operations. From manufacturing metrics, snowmakers receive hourly reports that measure optimal production efficiency and identify energy waste. The decision-making feedback and operational adjustments reduce energy costs by 20%. This results in making the most snow for the least expense. Click the link for a sample Report in PDF. Daily Snowmaking Report

Our system of analytics and reports follows the framework of ISO 50001; which is the global standard of industrial energy efficiency and endorsed by the U.S Dept of Energy.

Why these analytics are better than existing snowmaking reports?
1. Metrics for energy use and snow production costs are temperature-based, not time based.
2. Real-time analytics are reported from bottom-up operations, and not (last years) top-down allocations.
3. Beyond averages and totals, we use performance margins (profit margins) to measure efficiency. This
accounting method provides a fair comparison of operational performance in all temperatures.

Mission
Our company strives to elevate the professional level of snowmaking through education, training and certifications.

People
The principals, Brian Tito Alex and Sandy McPherson, have more than 40 years of combined experience with snowmaking operations. Both have managed databases for ski resorts as well as designed, constructed, and operated varieties of snowmaking technology in North America, Europe, Asia, New Zealand and Australia. Efficient operations drive our passion for snowmaking.

Business Structure
1. Our expertise and ideas come from field experience as snowmaking managers, equipment contractors and suppliers of technology. We understand the ski resort business as both consumer and customer.
2. We work with the entire health of snowmaking operations; versus a specialist whose focus is only on one equipment type or one manufacturer.
3. Our solutions utilize your existing infrastructure without adding a new control system or new snow guns. We promote efficient use of your existing assets, including human resources, before making recommendations of capital expenditures.
4. We help customers to help themselves. Ski Resorts have the resources of water, utilities, pumping systems, snow guns, and labor. Our company provides training and analytics to manage all components with an optimal level of efficiency. More snow sooner, benefits both skier and ski business.
5. Services are independent of any snowmaking equipment manufacturer. This provides unbiased objectivity for efficiency evaluations.
6. As former snowmaking managers, we have made many mistakes of inefficiency. This is where we learned to improve efficiency with metrics of performance management.
